“Bloodstream”

I think I might have inhaled you, infused you with my being.

Our souls intertwined, knowing without seeing.

Fleeing.. As I chase after myself lost in memory.

You’re everywhere around me and nowhere at all,

Will you be able to hear me when I fall?

You’ve gotten into my bloodstream, into every last breath,

And we dance, dance to life’s melody, in the spaces in between,

My mind and my heart, the spaces in between..

I close my eyes, and you look me in the eyes again,

I close my eyes, I feel I’ve lost my mind again..

Wake up..

It’s okay that she’s not here again,

Wake up..

Ease your sorrows with me my friend..

I’ll be here till you’re lost no more..
